[Gamescom 2018] The Suicide of Rachel Foster - 101% new title tested

As every year, Resources4Gaming is followed by one of the largest trade fairs in the sector, the Gamescom of Cologne, which this time celebrates its first 10 years of life. The international news are really many, but even those concerning our country are not joking at all. Today, in fact, we had the opportunity to get our hands on the new title of the development studio 101%, or The Suicide of Rachel Foster.

Once welcomed into the stand, seated with the development team, the actual presentation begins. The title is a narrative thriller adventure and it's about Nicole Wilson, who returns to her family hotel after ten years to sell it and fulfill her mother's last wish: to compensate the relatives of Rachel Foster, suicidal girl with whom her husband and father of Nicole at the time, he had a secret relationship. When the weather gets worse, our protagonist finds herself stuck inside the large mountain hut and finds support in Irving, a young FEMA agent who uses one of the first radio phones ever built. With her help, the heroine will begin to investigate a story that hides a much deeper mystery than the people of the valley thought, of love and death, where melancholy and nostalgia come together in a gripping ghost story. 

With a compelling story, captivating graphics and characters characterized to perfection, the title aims to totally immerse the player in the narrative adventure, so as to feel an integral part of the game and able to actually understand. what are the triggers that led the mother of Nicole to sell the family hotel. After the introduction, with which the history is explained to us, we immediately move on to a short rehearsed session, which allows us to see the inside of the hotel. Taking advantage of it, we can immediately notice the immense attention to detail, also offered thanks to theU with which the product is made. At the moment we don't know the release date, but we do know that it will be available for both console and PC.
