The change of direction of the production could have scared the most avid fans, only to change their mind completely at the time of the official release. The title was characterized by a much more mature and prominent work than the previous chapters, meaning that even the software house is slowly reaching its maximum potential. The only fault we could find in it God of War is that, once all the missions were completed, the desire to replay it was diminishing due to the constraint of having to leave all the equipment and materials obtained. Finally though the team decided to introduce the New Game +, feature that allows players to start over without losing upgrades or rare items such as armor, but above all introducing the ability to skip movies, saving time for the user. Right from the start it is important to see how your equipment has been fully maintained, including the already upgraded Blades of Chaos. Despite this don't expect a health walk, since the enemies have been leveled taking into account that the player is already very strong, therefore attacks and resistance have been strengthened properly. Rest your soul at peace as the Valkyries have also been improved, the fighting against them will now be much more difficult. Good luck to anyone who meets the Queen. The most significant introductions, however, are undoubtedly those related to runes and armor: for both categories there will now be items that cannot be found in the original game, so if you get stuck at a certain point, just look for these new rewards to get a sort of upgrade.
However, your old equipment has not been forgotten as, in the New Game +, there is a new degree of forging called "Perfect". Now it will be possible to bring the armor to this stage, so as to further enhance them to face the various clashes. The color the rank belongs to is red, and to exploit it you will need a unique material called "Skap Slag" to be found inside the chests. Of course there will be new Sets for both Kratos and Atreus, each adding new bonuses and new features.
In addition to the enemy move set, which has been completely revisited to make the second run of the game more unpredictable, now also parades have been optimized.
