HEL: The Last Saga is an interesting 1-4 player cooperative fantasy adventure board game created by game designer David Rakoto and art director Christophe Madura, (formerly known for creating MOG: Rise of Moloch published by CMON) and launched by Mythic Games, Inc.
This title aims to bring players to the helm of a small handful of great heroes, all with their own degree of specialization and with an exciting and deep background. Within the title, cooperation is put in the foreground for the survival of the group and for the success of the long mission. Each player will have to cooperate, helping their team to overcome the cold, hunger and hostile threats they will encounter on the battlefield.
The company's goal will also be to unravel the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of the colony founded by them Lost king to be worthy of the Saga that will keep their name.
HEL: The Last Saga does not simply offer a cooperative title, but wants to wink at the purely narrative profile, with long paragraphs to read based on what the players will be able to achieve in-game. The game mechanics have been structured to combine the exploratory part with tactical combat and resource management. Storytelling and background are omnipresent, and replayability comes from the unique way players will have to repeat a failed mission.

The game engine is based on the discovery or activation of events leading to narrative chapters. These events can be hidden on the game board, placed on the turn track or on any other game component. The story unfolds as players solve chapters, make choices, run tests, or just listen.
Each member of the clan has their own history, their strengths and weaknesses. The depth of the story is truly impressive and will involve players every time they learn about it by playing, acquiring new individual Hero cards in a completely non-linear way. Some of the cards will be the result of the choices made throughout the adventure.
HEL: The Last Saga it is currently a Kickstarter project that has achieved a whopping € 406.162 compared to the 138.239 requested.
