Skyrim Dawnguard - How to unlock the three new Screams

 

Among the various innovations that we find in the first expansion "Dawnguard" for Skyrim There are also three Screams all new to learn.

How to learn the Torn Soul Screams, Summon Durnehviir and Drain Vitality

1. How to Unlock the "Torn Soul" Scream
- You will first have to defeat the Durnehviir Dragon inside the Cairn Soul where it can be accessed freely after the "Chasing Echoes" mission.
- You will then need to use the scream "Summon Durnehviir three times - and each use of the scream will let you learn a single word of" Torn Soul ".

2. How to unlock the "Summon Durnehviir" scream
- To summon Durnehviir, you must first face the dragon on top of the spiers of Cairn Soul.
- During one of the main missions, at some point you will go to Cairn Soul to help Serana find an Elder Scroll. Once Durnehviir is defeated, he will reappear when you go out to speak.
- Here, the dragon will teach you the dragon scream "Summon Durnehviir which you will also need to unlock the Torn Soul scream (as we saw in point 1. of this guide).

3. How to unlock the "Life Drain" scream
- During the "Bloodline" mission, you will travel to a place called Dimhollow Caves.
- The Dragon Wall that will teach you the words of this Scream is located inside the Caves.
