Sign up for the affiliate program

To understand how to make money online with amazon through affiliations, first you need to sign up for the affiliate program same.

Registration is free and requires an Amazon account: if you don't have one yet, proceed with its creation by following the instructions I gave you in my guide how to register on Amazon.

You will now find yourself in the area Account information: basically the data relating to the beneficiary of Amazon payments, paid for sales from affiliate links, will be considered the same as those of the owner of the profile itself. If you intend to modify them, click on the button Please select a different address.

Enter your data in the fields Beneficiary name, Address line 1, City, State, Province or Region, POSTAL CODE e Phone Number. Indicate if you are the main contact of the account you are creating by placing a check mark next to the item The beneficiary listed above, otherwise choose the option Someone else, I need to enter his information. Put a check mark next to the entry No to indicate that you are not a US citizen and click the button NEXT to proceed with the registration.

On the screen Your websites and mobile apps, indicates the websites, applications and social network pages on which you plan to place Amazon Affiliate ads: indicates at least one website or social page. Specify your site's URL in the field Enter your website e pulsing sul pulsating Add. Report any applications in the field Enter the mobile app URLs: repeat the operation for all your websites, social network pages and mobile applications, up to a maximum of 50. Then press the button NEXT, accessing the next step.

Now, in the section Profile, choose an ID to identify your affiliation (you can enter the name of your website) by typing it in the field Scegli il tuo partnerID: provide its description by writing it in the field What are your websites or mobile apps about?.

Via the drop-down menus Select the main topic e Select the subtopic, indicate the topics that best describe your websites or inserted mobile app, choosing one of the available options.

Now indicate the type of Amazon item you intend to link on your websites by placing one or more check marks next to the options (Clothing, footwear and jewellery, Electronics, Books, etc.). Use the drop-down menus located under the item What types of websites or mobile apps? to choose one of the available items among A blog, Price comparator, Content site, Coupon/discount/offer site etc.

In the Traffic and monetization, specifies how you drive traffic to your website (SEO, social Network, Banner, etc.) and how you generate income (Contextual advertising, widget, eBay affiliate program, Other Affiliate Programs, Subscription service, etc. ).

Finally, answer the questions How do you usually create links?, How many total unique visitors per month do your websites and apps get?, What is the main reason you joined the Amazon Affiliate Program? e How did you find out about the program?. Enter the verification code, displayed in the appropriate field and tick to accept the terms and conditions of the service.

Press the button Complete your registration, click on the item Amazon.it Affiliate Program and start building Amazon product links and banners right away for your website.

Create links to Amazon products

Once you've signed up for the Amazon Affiliate Program, you can start create links to Amazon products, to be placed on your website and/or on your social network pages.

To quickly create a link to Amazon products, from your affiliate account, enter the name of the product to search for in the field Keyword or ASIN/ISBN, present under the heading Quick links: product search e pulsing sul pulsating Plan your trip. Locate the product and click on the icon freccia rivolta verse il basso, next to the key Get link: you will see the URL of the article in question, including your partnerID.

If, on the other hand, you want to create a link to an Amazon product category, click on the item Search by category and select one of the categories visible on the left, then press the icon arrow pointing down to copy the HTML code to place on your website.

Alternatively, click on the entry Creating product links (above) and select the option from the menu Product link: access the link creation section which allows you to generate both text links and links with images and text.

In the Product search, enter the product name in the field Keyword or ASIN/ISBN, indicates the category in which to search for the article using the drop-down menu under the item Research and click sul pulsating Plan your trip. Then press the button Get link, relating to the product of your interest and, on the new page that has opened, choose one of the link creation options available.

In both cases, after completing the customization of the link, click on the button Highlight HTML, select the HTML code and copy it to your website.

For your affiliations, you can also use Amazon banners: click on the items Creating product links e seleziona l'opzione Banner, choose the type of banner between Promotional banners e Category banners, then indicate the dimensions and copy the HTML code provided.

Alternatively, you can use banners related to Amazon services, such as Amazon Prime, Prime Video e Amazon Music or one of the banners of promotions and offers: to view the complete list, click on the item Affiliate Promotions.

Place Amazon products on your website

After creating the links, the next step will be List Amazon products on your website, with its HTML code. All you have to do is locate the page, or section of the site, where you want to display the articles, log in and paste the code you just copied.

If you have a site built with WordPress, Amazon has been making the free plugin available to users for a long time Amazon Associates Link Builder. The plugin allows you to place products on your website pages without creating any links, as indicated in the previous paragraphs. However, I must warn you that Amazon has decided to abandon the development of this plugin, which has become discontinuous.

As an alternative to the Link Builder, you can simply copy the link from SiteStripe says Amazon and use, for example, the link embed block of WordPress, or add the sponsored link by selecting a few words of the text, which will act as an access point to view the product sheet, when the user clicks on it.

Track clicks, sales and commissions

Following the placement of the first affiliates on your website, you can track clicks, sales and commissions through Affiliate Center from Amazon.

Connect to your affiliate account, scroll down the page until you find the sections Earnings overview e Summary for this month.

Activating a seller account to trade new or used products is another valid solution: here, then, how to make money with amazon with sales. Depending on your needs, you can choose between a free plan, with a monthly limit on sales and commissions for each product sold, or a subscription plan dedicated to professional sellers.

Create a seller account

Now, click on themenu icon, go to the section Programs and features and click on your voice See all programs and features. Then click on the item Sell on Amazon to connect to the platform dedicated to Amazon sellers and press the button Sign Up. Enter the data in the fields present, enter your telephone number and proceed with the verification of your identity, choosing a method from the options Call me e Send me an SMS. Once you have created your seller account, you will have two subscription options: the piano Pro, with commissions per sale varying by product category, plus €1,01 as management fee and a cost of 39 euro / year. I advise you to deactivate the automatic renewal immediately, if you are not yet very experienced, switching instead to the Base plan free, which charges a fixed closing fee of €0,99, a referral fee that varies by product category and a management fee of 1,01 €.

Selling a product

Start by logging into your seller account, click on the option Catalogue and select the item Add product from the menu that appears. in the new page that has opened, scroll down and locate the item Add a new product.

Use the field now Product title, UPC, EAN, ISBN or ASIN and click sul pulsating Search to check the presence of a product on Amazon. If you find it among the search results, press the button Put up for sale, enter the requested information and click on the button Save and finish to publish the ad.

In case your search doesn't match your product, click the option Create a new offer, indicate the category of your article, selecting it from those available, choose any sub-categories and click on the button Select.

Then complete the advertisement by selecting the tab Custom offer, enter the data and select the card Images, to upload product photos. Finally, click the button Save and finish.

If you prefer to manage your sales from your smartphone, you can use the app Amazon Seller (o Amazon Seller) for devices Android in download from Play Store (or from an alternative store, if you don't have Google services), or for iPhone, downloadable on the App Store.

Sell used smartphones

If you want to sell your old smartphone quickly, you can have the device evaluated by Amazon using an option designed specifically for sell used smartphones.

The service in question is amazon-recommerce: allows you to have a quote, with subsequent collection and evaluation, of each phone used, with payment via IBAN 48 hours after validation of the status of the device.

Selling books on the Kindle Store

If you intend to earn by selling your books, you can rely on Kindle direct publishing (o KDP extension), Amazon's platform for publishing the works of which you own the rights on the Kindle Store: well, then read on to find out how to sell books on kindle store.

Connect to the official KDP page and click on the button Log in,then enter the same credentials as your Amazon account. When you first log in to Kindle Direct Publishing, enter your personal information, your bank account and your tax information.

To finish creating your KDP account, fill out the Tax Information Questionnaire, check that the data shown is correct or enter the missing ones, then press the button Exit the questionnaire to submit your tax information to Amazon.

Now you're ready to publish your first book on KDP: click on the entry Library and choose the type of book to publish from the entry Kindle eBook or the option Printed version. On the following page, enter information about your book in the fields provided, specify i publishing rights and click sul pulsating Set category.

Proceed with loading the book by clicking on the button Upload eBook text or on the button Upload paper manuscript: choose whether to upload a ready-to-use cover or create one on the spot: click on the button Start cover creation, then press the button Launch the preview tool, to view the final result and any printing errors to be corrected.

How to make money with Amazon FBA

At this point, I would like to introduce you to another way to sell on the well-known global e-commerce site: you want to know how to make money with Amazon FBA, i.e. the service better known by its name Fulfillment by Amazon? Keep reading and you will finally understand how to exploit it profitably.

AmazonFBA? is a service that allows the seller to entrust the large marketplace with the warehouse management for the storage of products, their Inventory, shipment and even the customer care.

Amazon FBA, better known in Italy as Fulfillment by Amazon, is the ideal program for those who intend to sell items in dropshipping on Amazon: a trading system in which the seller offers the final buyer only a showcase of products and the system for purchasing them. All the rest of the logistics, from the warehouse to the delivery of the parcels, will be taken over by a third party, i.e. a supplier. In practice, for example in order to understand how to make money with Amazon FBA in 60 days through dropshipping, I could first of all advise you to choose a reliable and verified supplier, then to carry out a sort of market survey on Amazon about products that have a good demand from users, but are not yet inflated.

Returning to the service in question, the main requirement to access the Amazon FBA program is to have an active seller profile on the platform: to find out how to create one, I refer you to the previous paragraph.

Otherwise, by joining the immediate payment version of Amazon FBA, you will be able to ship to a selected Amazon fulfillment center up to 50 products to stock, at a cost of €83,50, you will be entitled to theirs storage for 30 days at the price of €7,56, To removal of 2 items for €1,10 and management of the return of 2 pieces, at a cost of €4,66, For a total expense of €92,62.

At this point, to activate Amazon FBA, access your seller profile and go to the section Seller account information, then go to the area Your services and click on the entry Manage.

A new page will open where you have to select the option Fulfillment by Amazon and click on the button Sign Up: check the summary sheet of your data and perform the action Complete registration.

How to make money with Amazon Influencer

Among the proposals introduced by the well-known e-commerce to allow users to make money, there is the program Amazon Influencer: I want to explain right now how to make money with Amazon Inluencer.

Amazon Influencer is a program dedicated to all those who constantly share content on the web, looking for an audience that follows them.
