Well, you need to know that Fortnite record automatically all the games you play, so that you can show your friends (or your followers, if you are a streamer) your performances at any time. In any case, by accessing the replays you have one 360 degree view of the playing field and the techniques used by your opponents, which can be particularly useful for honing your skills. So learning how to take advantage of replays could give you a good competitive edge.

However, this system is only available for Fortnite versions for PC, PlayStation 4 e Xbox One. In fact, on Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS this tool has not yet been made available. How to see a replay on Fortnite

The first thing to do to learn how to see replays on Fortnite Chapter 2, is to go to the main menu of the game, related to the mode Battle Royale.

At this point, all you have to do is simply move to the tab CAREER (by pressing, for example, the key R1 PS4 controller) and select the item REPLAY (e.g. the button triangle of the PS4 pad).

Here you will find the movies integers of your latest games: To play a replay, simply press on the item first PLAYS at the bottom (using, for example, the X on PS4) and then on the button CONFIRMATION that appears on the screen.

Once you enter the playback screen, the replay will start automatically from the start of the game, i.e. from when the players are still on the bus and can only thank the driver. Well, as you may have already noticed, below are all the buttons that allow you to manage movie playback.

Pressing onicon dell'orologio, which is on the left, you can activate the play bar and move to a specific part of the replay, while using the buttons next to it, you can put pause and increase the playback speed.

Using the buttons next to the player name, which is on the right, you can instead switch between users and see how they conducted the game. Clearly, within the "list" you will also find yours username and you can then review your performance.

Alongside are thecamera icon, which is needed to change type of view, and keys + e -, to change the playback speed of the movie. You can also open the map, using the appropriate key (e.g. the touchpad on PS4): Here you will see the position of the players that were in the "replay zone".

To access the Advanced settings, you have to press oncamera icon with a gear found just below the playback bar. From here you can choose numerous options, from the view of silhouettes of the players to that of effects of the storm, passing through the insertion within the replay of the names of the players.

In short, Fortnite allows you to manage replays in an advanced way and now you know how to use the native tool implemented by Epic Games.

How to save replays in Fortnite

I remind you that Fortnite can automatically delete your replays, if they are not saved. My advice is to "keep in memory" only the best games, so that too much disk space is not taken up.

To keep a movie in memory, just press on the item RENAME AND SAVE present at the bottom right of the replay screen, which is in the path Battle Royale> CAREER> REPLAY. After that, you will need to type the movie name and press CONFIRMATION.

Perfect: this way, the game will keep the replay you saved in memory until you decide to delete it manually. Unsaved movies are all named Replay not saved and therefore you will certainly not struggle to understand which are the contents that will be kept in memory and which are not.
