How to take screenshots and screen recordings on Chromebook

You don't ask for the moon, you just want to take full screenshots on Chromebook. Use the steps below as a guide for all your Chromebook screenshot and screen recording needs.

Step 1

Go to Quick Settings and select "Screen Capture".

Make sure the content you want to capture is displayed on screen.

Step 2

In the Screen Capture tool, choose whether you want to capture the entire screen, a single window, or a specific part of the screen.

You can also choose to record part of the screen or the whole screen.

Step 3

Once you have made your selection, click "Capture" on the screen.

Step 4

When done, the screenshot or recording will be shown in Tote on the app tray and will be copied to clipboard automatically.
