Huawei backup, all methods

How to backup entire Huawei mobile without Google Play. We will explain how to make a backup of the entire Huawei mobile phone, focusing especially on those models that do not have Google Play, the official Android application store. We have already explained to you in depth how to backup everything on your mobile, but on Android we use some resources that are not available in the latest Huawei devices.

For this reason, today we will write an article focused above all on the native alternatives that Huawei itself offers and which are pre-installed on all mobile phones. The only thing you will need is to create a Huawei ID, which is the company's online services account. This is something the mobile itself forces you to do in the initial setup, so we'll assume you already have it and focus on the steps for Huawei backup.

While everything is pretty much in the same place, we'll sort the article into five different parts. We will start by explaining how to save your photos with Huawei services, then we will continue with the rest of the files that you can sync to the cloud. Next, we will explain how to buy more Huawei cloud storage, as if you have a lot of photos you may need them and we will finish by explaining how to make a full backup of your Huawei phone.

How to Backup Huawei to the Cloud

To make a backup of your photos in the Huawei cloud, the first thing you should do is enter the settings of your device by clicking on the app named Settings. Once inside, click on the Account Center section you have at the top and that includes your configured name, your phone number or email and references to your Huawei ID.

Once you are on the Account Center screen, you need to go to the second group of options and click on the Cloud option. This option can be turned on or off depending on your configuration, but to save data to the cloud you will need to turn it on.

Once you enter the Cloud screen, now you just have to click on the Gallery option. That's what you have in the Applications section that uses the cloud, just first of all.

Once inside the Gallery option, you just have to activate the Cloud Gallery Synchronization option that will appear, and you will have already activated the backup of your photos. You can now access the photos from any computer from the Huawei cloud web client, whose address is Cloud.huawei.com.

Huawei's cloud adapts more

As you have already seen in the previous step, the Huawei cloud also contains more things, such as your contacts, calendar, notepad, browser data or WiFi password. Also, if you access the Files application you will have a Huawei Drive section. Files is the file explorer pre-installed by Huawei on its devices and Huawei Drive is a hard drive that uses the storage of your Huawei account to be able to save any type of file you have on your mobile phone in the cloud, or download files sent via mail or instant messaging.

With all these files in sync, now all you have to do is log into the Cloud.huawei.com website. When you log in with the same Huawei account you use on your mobile, through this portal you can access all the data you have synced. Besides, you can also move files to Huawei Drive from PC to so that they appear automatically on your mobile.

When you enter the Cloud Backup screen, you can perform various operations. First of all, enable Cloud Backup with the tab appearing next to the option. This way, the device will make backup copies every time it charges with the screen locked and connected to a WiFi.
