Konami: rejected several projects related to Metal Gear and Silent Hill

It is back to talk about Konami, the software house that allowed game designer Hideo Kojima to publish the entire saga of Metal Gear. An interesting curiosity about the developer in question emerged from a recent article published on Polygon. It seems that the current study of Kojima Productions has proposed some interesting ideas a Konami, which the latter, however, refused without thinking too much. Let's see together what it is about in more detail.

To get to the ear of Konami there were no proposals on the sequels of some titles, but ideas as brilliant as they are crazy. To be treated in these pitches there were: Metal Gear, Silent Hill, Bomberman e Contra. Unfortunately, we have no news regarding the last three titles, but the Polygon article hinted at the spin offs of Metal Gear proposed. The first of this was a MOBA, set in the mind of Psycho Mantis with all the characters of the series inside, while the second was a game based on Parkour starring Solid Snake. It is therefore not so difficult to imagine why the software house has decided to reject these rather crazy ideas. We just have to wait and see how Konami will decide to move now with its proprietary IPs.
