    The success of The Witcher, the TV series Netflix based on the novels of Andrzej Sapkowski and the video game series by CD Projekt RED, continues undaunted to grind records and successes. Thanks to these numbers and the appreciation, both from critics and end users, the streaming giant has decided to create and then distribute on its platform an animated film always set within the universe of the witcher. The name of the film will be "The Witcher: Nightmare of The Wolf"And will be produced at the Korean studio"Studio Mir“, Famous for works like“ The Legend of Korra ”and“ Voltron: Legendary Defender “.



    These are the words of the showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissirich and of the manufacturer Beau DeMayo regarding the new project:

    The unexpected announcement from Netflix was issued the day after a new record by the show, which saw 76 million viewers in the first month.


    The rumors are true, a film is in the works that will take us back to the continent. The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf anime will be made by series showrunner @LHissrich, @BeauDeMayo and the studio behind the Legend of Korra.
