With the usual frenzied pace, the Nintendo Direct of 13 February has flooded us with announcements, including unreleased titles and launch dates for games that we have been looking forward to for some time. Let's find out together all the news coming for Nintendo Switch, therefore!

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order

The Action RPG currently under development at Team Ninja studios was the first to show up in Direct. We do not have a precise launch date yet, but at least now we know the indicative period of the debut, which should take place by the summer of 2019. The players will be called to save the world from the evil Thanos and the Black Order, creating a winning team between Marvel superheroes, Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy.


The title can be played offline and online, up to a maximum of 4 players on a single screen, or using multiple consoles. Alliance 3 will support the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.

Box Boy + Box Girl

Through Nintendo Direct, the Definitive Edition of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of a Lost Age has been announced, with orchestrated soundtrack, dubbing in Japanese (for the first time) and the ability to play with a 16-bit graphic style in any time! The Definitive Edition of the eleventh chapter will be available during the fall of this year. On July 12, however, Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be released, in both physical and digital format, with support for co-op, first-person view and, of course, many new levels and unreleased missions.


Fire Emblem: Three Houses

New IP from Platinum Games, Astral Chain is undoubtedly among the most attractive titles shown in the latest Nintendo Direct. The game will see the light on August 30th on Switch. The supervision of the project was entrusted to Hideki Kamiya (The Wonderful 101, Bayonetta), with character design by Masakazu Katsura (creator of Zetman, Video Girl Ai and Wingman)) and curated by the head of Design of Nier: Automata, Takahisa Taura (who also oversaw the development of Anarchy Reigns). This would be enough to ignite the hype spark for this hell-paced action-RPG, featuring a truly impressive graphic style. We can't wait to have it in our hands!
