NVIDIA e SoftBank Group Corp. (SBG) announced in the past few hours a definitive agreement under which the famous manufacturer of graphics processors, motherboards and components for multimedia products for PCs and consoles, will acquire Arm Limited by SBG and SoftBank Vision Fund (together the same "Softbank“) With a transaction with a total value of 40 billion dollars. According to the press release, available on the official website of the Californian company, the acquisition aims to merge NVIDIA's leading AI computing platform with Arm's vast ecosystem, in order to create the leading computing company for the era of artificial intelligence, thereby accelerating the innovation process. This combination has tremendous benefits for both companies, our customers and the industry.
