Gary Ross takes the reins of one of the sagas of Caper Movie most famous and important of the new millennium. With Ocean's Eleven the category has relived in a new light and brought the “big shot” genre closer to current generations. More than ten years have passed since the last film in the saga, the famous director has decided to create a feature film in its own right by writing a new screenplay in collaboration with Olivia Milch. Will Ocean's 8 to complete the generational change with his new cast of all-female stars?

Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) sister of the crook Danny Ocean (George Clooney) after being framed by her business partner (Richard Armitage) she is caught red-handed and taken to the cool for several years. Having served her sentence and reduced to five years for good behavior, our protagonist is ready to return to the game in style. In fact, during her sentence the woman had some time to elaborate the coup of the century, but to implement it she will need to reconnect with the criminal world and put on a team of professionals only (of "her", because they usually do not are noticed, and she doesn't want that to happen). Thanks to the help of her friend Lou (Cate Blanchett) the team slowly takes shape. The main plan is to slip off the beauty's neck Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway) the Toussaint, a Cartier diamond necklace worth more than $ 150 million, during the annual gala ball hosted in Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. To carry out the theft, the contribution of each of the women gathered will be essential: Rose Weil (Helena Bonham Carter) fashion designer now in decline, will be in charge of dressing the celebrity. Amita (Mindy Kaling) expert gemologist whipped by working with her mother, she will be in charge of cutting precious stones. Tammy (Sarah Paulson) quiet housewife with a habit of smuggling, she will provide all the necessary equipment. Ball 9 (Robyn Rihanna Fenty) the mysterious hacker, will cover the others by tampering with security while Constance (Nora Lum) the skilled street thief, will perform the actual deed.

Ocean's 8 - Review of the film with Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett

Ocean's 8 it is a pleasure for the eyes. Taking up a cinematic trend already functioning and well tested over the years, everything is upset just enough to offer a different product but familiar and entertaining. Everything flows smoothly, always keeping the viewer's interest high and maintaining an impeccable storytelling style for the entire projection. With a sporadic but functional humor and with the many appearances of a certain level (we will also find characters from the original trilogy) the bar will always tend upwards. As usual there will be unexpected events and twists (predictable and not) that will alternate in the perhaps too simplistic development of the plot, but which in any case will remain camouflaged and of little importance compared to the excellent acting, the class, and the stage presence of the whole cast of stars present inside. In short, an excellent return worthy of its predecessors (if not more).
