For several years now OnePlus is one of the main players in the smartphone market and it is therefore no coincidence that the new OnePlus 9 are among the most anticipated smartphones of the moment. After months of speculation and rumors regarding the new top-of-the-range family of the Chinese manufacturer, there are practically no more secrets. Yet, the latest mysteries, relating to the official presentation date and the technical characteristics of the photographic sector, have only been revealed in the past few hours.
Starting our examination from the camera, it is interesting to underline how OnePlus has decided to stipulate one three-year collaboration with the Swedish company Hasselblad to improve the yield of the shots captured with the new OnePlus 9. It has not yet been made known what this partnership will consist of but it is hoped that it is something that will be able to enhance a photographic sector that will have a sensor Sony IMX789 and will capture 12-bit RAW images, such as Galaxy S21 e iPhone 12 Pro / Pro Max. Finally, as previously mentioned, the Chinese company has announced that the next 23 March will be the date on which the OnePlus 9 family will be officially announced.
As for the other hardware features, it is known at the moment that the OnePlus 9 Pro should have a curved display from the resolution of 1440p e refresh rate at 120 Hz. As a processor, the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, assisted by the GPU Adreno 660 and 8/12 GB of RAM. Like the main competitors, there will be support for fast 5G network. All models should also offer the possibility of not only having the quick charge from 65 W but also of the reverse charge, through which we can use the smartphone as if it were a powerbank for other devices. And speaking of battery, several leaks suggest it will have the capacity to 4500 mAh both for OnePlus 9 and for the Pro model. At this point we just have to wait until March 23 to find out if the various rumors will finally find definitive confirmation.
