Paramount has decided to postpone two of its biggest films for this 2020

After Warner Bros, the Paramount has decided to significantly postpone two of its major upcoming films. We are talking about A Quiet Place: part II (scheduled for September but postponed to 23 April 2021) is Top Gun: Maverick (scheduled for December 25, now in arrival the 2 July 2021). A choice certainly not easy but necessary, the one taken by the American film company. It is in fact very risky, right now, to hope to be able to release films in theaters during this year, without knowing if and when they will fully resume their activity.

Regarding the postponement of the titles, the presidents of the domestic distribution e international theater area of Paramount, Chris Aronson e Mark Viane, stated:

We firmly believe that an experience like that at the cinema is not comparable with anything. We are collaborating with our partners and we all agree. When the time comes, we will all be ready and can enjoy the movies on the big screen to the fullest.

Also the fourth chapter of Jackass (films based on the 2000s US TV show) slated for 2021 has been postponed for a few months. Will arrive on the big screen on 3 September 2021.

We just have to wait to find out what will be the fate of all postponed films during this 2020. For updates on this, and all other upcoming titles, stay tuned. As usual, we will not fail to keep you constantly updated.
