PlayStation 5: does the scheduled event have a new date?

We were all disappointed following Sony's announcement of postponing the “PS5: The Future of Gaming“ event. Despite this, we understand very well the reasons that led the company not to want to make the presentation of the next-gen console PlayStation 5 in the same days in which particularly tragic and difficult pages of history are being lived in the USA. Today, however, the possible new date of the event has been leaked: Friday 12nd June. Here we report the announcement of Jim Ryan prior to cancellation:

The source of this rumor comes from 4chan, later reported by Reddit. This is an anonymous user who claims to be close to the PlayStation marketing department. There has been no official communication through any of the usual channels of communication and of course this information must be taken with a grain of salt. There is indeed a healthy skepticism among the forum users themselves but this date would have its justification given that it would be a postponement of the event by practically a week.
