Pokémon GO: here are all the events and news coming in April 2021

Niantic recently announced all the events that will come within Pokémon GO during the month of April. What awaits the coaches is actually a month full of news and content for the title, in which there will be very few days of pause between one event and another. Chansey, Blissey, and Happiny will show off wreaths during its next spring-themed event, while to raise awareness of the sustainability discord, players will be required to capture particular polluted Pokémon, such as Grimer and Trubbish. To this will also be added mega raids, legendary raids and many other new features. But let's go and see together all the events published by Niantic, with the exact start times and further details.

• Team GO Rocket Time Search: From 00:00 Thursday April 1, 2021 to 23:59 PM Thursday April 8 2021 (local time), Pokémon GO players will be required to complete the timed quest to obtain a Rocket Super Radar which can later be used to defeat Giovanni
• Spring smell: A spring celebration will take place on Pokémon GO from April 4 to April 8 and which will include Chansey, Blissey and Happiny who will show off beautiful flower crowns, as well as other spring and egg-themed surprises
• Rivals week: this event will take place from April 13 to April 18, will include "rival" Pokemon (such as Zangoose and Seviper) and will introduce some new Pokemon within the title
  
• Environmental awareness week: the week of sustainability is based on increasing environmental sustainability and will take place from 20 April to 25 April. During this event, players will be asked to catch pollution-themed Pokémon, such as Grimer and Trubbish
• Friendship day: On Saturday, April 24th, a brand new event will be held on Pokémon GO that celebrates the friendship between Pokèmon and players 

Save Shadow Zapdos from Giovanni

During the month of April 2021 Giovanni will have Zapdos shadow in your hands. If you have not already done so, you will need to complete the latest Team GO Rocket Special Research “Big Trouble at High Altitude” to get a Super Rocket Radar. This will allow players to track down the Team GO Rocket Boss and rescue Shadow Zapdos. In addition, it will be possible to receive a super radar Rocket for the timed research which was scheduled during the first week of April. Meetings in April's Extraordinary Discovery on Pokémon GO

From 22:00 CET (1:00 pm PDT, GTM -7) of next Thursday 1st April 2021 until 22:00 CET (1:00 pm PDT, GTM -7) of Saturday 1st May 2021 it will be possible to Frillish men during the meetings in the extraordinary discovery. Additionally, in April, players will have the chance to see these Legendary Pokémon appear in five-star raids:

• The Totem Shape of Tornadus will make its five-star raid debut on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 10:00 am and will restart on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 10:00 am.
• The Totem Shape of Landorus will make its five-star raid debut on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 10:00 am and will restart on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 10:00 am.
• The Embodiment Forms of Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus will appear in five-star raids starting Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 10am. With a little luck, it may even be possible to encounter them in their chromatic forms.

In addition, in the megaraid you will be able to see these Pokémon appear mega-evolved:

• MegaHoundoom, MegaManectric and MegaAbomasnow will appear in megaraids until Sunday, April 4, 2021 at 10:00
• Sunday, April 4, 2021 at 10: 0 am, a surprise Mega Evolved Pokémon will appear in the megaraids and will continue to appear for the rest of the month.
• MegaGengar and MegaManectric will appear in megaraids from 10am Monday April 00th 5 to 2021am Tuesday April 10th 00
• MegaVenusaur and MegaAbomasnow will appear in megaraids starting Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 10:00

Every Wednesday in April it will be possible to attend a Raid Hour event from 18:00 pm to 19:00 pm, during which the Pokémon that will appear in the five-star raids during the week will be presented. We remind you that it is possible to earn extra XP by completing five-star raids during the season of legends.

Featured Pokémon Hours

During the month of April, Featured Pokémon Hour will take place every Tuesday from 18:00 pm to 19:00 pm and each day will feature an ever-changing Pokémon and a special bonus.

• Tuesday 6 April 2021: The Pokémon in the foreground will be Buneary and it will be possible to earn double the amount of candy by transferring Pokémon.
• Tuesday 13 April 2021: The Pokémon in the foreground will be Mankey and it will be possible to obtain double the amount of XP by evolving Pokémon.
• Tuesday 20 April 2021: The Pokémon in the foreground will be Grimer and it will be possible to earn double the amount of stardust by catching Pokémon.
• Tuesday 27 April 2021: The Pokémon in the foreground will be Finneon and it will be possible to obtain double the amount of XP by catching Pokémon.
