What hasn't been changed is the need to get money throughout the adventure to spend on Poké Balls, healing items and other various tools. Aided by a few tricks that we describe below, players will be able to ensure that they always have more than a few coins in their purse in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Monetamuleto
Introduced in Generation II, the Coin Amulet is a powerful tool capable of doubling the amount of prize money received after a battle, provided it is given to a pet monster who participates in the battle. All in all, this is a top priority for any Manager interested in not running out of money.
The location of this object changes from game to game, therefore its finding is not immediate. In our case it will be necessary to go to the city of Mesturia, where there are two Pokémon Centers. Selling items at the PokéMarket
A piece of advice as simple as it is important on the path to wealth is to sell items at any Pokémon Market. Easily traceable on the map by a special symbol that unites it to the Pokémon Center, at these places it will be possible to accumulate large sums of money. Suffice it to mention some rare objects that are at the same time available to every explorer of Paldea, such as the Granpepita (from 20.000 Pokédollars), the Star Piece (from 6.000), the Trittiperla (from 10.000).
Great School Tournament
The most ambitious competition organized by the Grape or Orange Academy – depending on which version you own, Violet or Scarlet respectively – allows you to evaluate which are the strongest Trainers in the region. After the end credits, to unlock this event it will be necessary to face a second time all the Gym Leaders whose Pokémon will be around level 65. At that point it will be possible to access the Great Scholastic Tournament: in the first phase the users will be faced by Pepe, Zim, Dendra and Alisma.
Participate in Raids
Rematch with Team Star
Once per day – based on the game counter, not actual hours – you can take on Team Star bosses as bonus single challenges. As in the main campaign, the latter are located throughout the map, but their creatures maintain specific fixed levels.
Profitable move and Trainers
The last two tips can be said to be general for each main episode of the series. Since Generation I, Meowth has been the only monster capable of learning Payday, a damage-dealing Normal-type move. As a side effect, the latter leaves coins on the ground in a number equal to twice the Pokémon's level, each time it is used. Regardless of who used Payday, the winning player gets the coins dropped. If the Pokémon has Coin Amulet, their number is doubled when collected.
Finally, it is preferable to try to face all the opponents scattered around Paldea. Based on the average level of their team, in case of victory they will give users money.
