Red Dead Online: New maps and doubled experience points

Red Dead Online: New maps and doubled experience points

Red Dead Online, that is the multiplayer sector of the famous game Rockstar Red Dead Redemption 2, has recently welcomed a new update that will introduce some new maps and allow you to earn more experience points. They will indeed be 4 the new maps for the mode Showdown, that will expand the gaming experience: start with just a handful of throwing knives and find the shotguns scattered around the map before the others and use them to your advantage.

In addition, until April 13, 2020, experience points earned in the Featured Series and in any other Showdown mode will be worth double. Here is the list of the four new maps:

    • Overrun - Pike's Basin
A good old land war in the arid climate of Pike's Basin. The rules are simple: conquer and keep control of as many territories as possible to win. The problem is to survive.

    • Spoils of War - Roanoke Valley
Take control of the loot in the tall grass and muddy waters of Stillwater Creek, returning to your squad base to beat your rivals.

    • Plunder - Stillwater Creek
North of the Annesburg mines in the greater state of New Hanover, the Roanoke Valley is the scene of a lethal battle. Defend your loot and try to steal that of the enemies! The player who steals the most loot wins.

    • Up in Smoke - Kamassa River
The placid currents of the Kamassa River are the perfect backdrop for this explosive and fast-paced mode. All players start carrying a pack of explosives with them: the goal is to deliver it to the enemy camp without getting killed. Deliver more explosives before the game ends to completely destroy the enemy camp.

In addition, Rockstar wanted to remind everyone that part of the proceeds from Red Dead Online and Grand Theft Auto Online, obtained in the months of April and May 2020, will be given to charity to support the Coronavirus emergency.
