Red Dead Redemption: the Outlaws Collection denied, here is the evidence

In the past few hours, thanks to the efforts of an editor of Kotaku, rumors about Red Dead Redemption: The Outlaws Collection have been proven wrong: it wouldn't be a video game industry without a lot of rumors. In fact, recently there was talk of an alleged "The Outlaws Collection" of the game leaked - as shown - on Amazon. The collection in question should have contained both one remastered of the first chapter that an improved version of Red Dead Redemption 2, with a release planned in particular for the PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X.

In the past few hours, however, the editor of the famous newspaper Zack Zwiezen took to Twitter to debunk the rumors, claiming that the recently leaked cover it is essentially a job Photoshop badly done. In this fascinating thread, Zwiezen details the entire process behind how the covers were most likely made. There is also another glaring error about fake images that the thread didn't even mention: the return date mentioned on Amazon, which identifies as January 31, 2021, is earlier than the release date which would have happened December 31 of the same. year (something doesn't actually add up).

Overall the evidence overwhelmingly demonstrates that this is fake screenshots and that there is - reluctantly - no such collection. Again, examining sources is crucial to avoid spreading misinformation. For the uninitiated, Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 e Xbox One. Just a few days ago, another rumor related to a possible Red Dead Redemption Remastered circulated on the net, in particular it would have been spotted on an Amazon page: is this the right time, or will it be a hoax again?
