Renature - Preview of the new board game by Kiesling and Kramer

Renature is the new title of the pair of authors Michael kiesling e Wolfgang kramer, which we already know for very high quality titles like the trilogy of masks, Heaven & Ale (which we have already told you about here) e Nauticus (which we told you about here). For it Spiel.digital 2020, along with the highly anticipated Paris, introduce us Renature: tile placing and majorities game published with Capstone Games e Pegasus Games.

In a polluted valley, our task will be to restore the fauna and flora by placing animal-tiles and plant-tokens. The fundamental mechanics of the game is that of domino: at each turn, it is necessary to place a domino tile depicting two animals and (possibly) a plant from our reserve. The plant must be adjacent to the domino tile just placed and will be able to provide points depending on its size compared to the other plants in the area. When the area is completely surrounded by animals, players can receive points based on the plants present (plus an end-of-game bonus for the player who closed the area).

The game is a medium weight suitable more or less for everyone (staying in an age group from 8 years upwards, as the box indicates), our game was very pleasant: the need to place your own domino tile next to an animal of the same color forces us to carefully plan the next rounds, hoping that an opponent does not come in the meantime to upset our plans.

Some special powers, then, they can be activated by spending clouds from your dashboard and will help us to fix the most difficult situations. The interaction, duration and complexity of the title are perfectly balanced to keep the game always lively and without boring.

The title can be pre-ordered from the Pegasus website and will be available starting November 15 at a cost of around 40,00 euros.
