Samsung Galaxy A20e does not turn on, we have solved it

The Samsung Galaxy A20e has some impressive hardware specifications and can easily dominate the competition. However, just like any other device, it's not perfect and you may run into a problem or two while using it. In fact, some owners have already told us that their units no longer turn on.

Some have claimed that their phones got stuck on black screen, while others reported that their devices just shut down and are no longer responding.

Such a problem occurs from time to time and while it may seem like a serious problem, it's actually just a minor firmware issue. It's not the first time we've encountered this problem, so we already know a thing or two that might help you fix the problem with your Samsung Galaxy A20e that you don't want to turn on.

So, in this post, I will share with you the most effective solutions we have used to tackle this problem. If you are one of the owners of this device and are currently experiencing a similar problem, read on as this article may be able to help you one way or another.

Fixed Galaxy A20e won't turn on

Here is the fact, most of the time, this problem is only due to a minor firmware issue or a crash.

It may seem like a serious hardware problem, but you can fix it yourself without having to go to the store and be without your device for at least two days. You can fix this as long as the phone has no physical or liquid damage. That said, here's what you need to do:

1) Forced restart of your Galaxy A20e

Right! A forced restart will cause the phone to answer again. In fact, it may be the only thing you need to do to get the device working. It is a simulated battery removal that updates the phone's memory and reloads its apps and services. Here's how on your Galaxy A20e:

  1. Press and hold the Volume Down button and don't release it yet.
  2. While holding down the volume button, also press and hold the power key.
  3. Keep both buttons pressed together for at least 15 seconds.

If the logo is displayed on the screen, it means that the phone has responded to this method and it means that the problem is solved. However, if it still doesn't turn on after the first try, repeat the process several times. After that if the phone still does not answer, then move on to the next solution.

2) Charge your phone and force restart

After doing the forced reboot a few times and the phone still won't turn on, it's possible that it's just because the battery has run out. If you've tried plugging your phone into the charger and it's not responding or charging, simply draining the battery may have caused your system to crash.

Maybe you let your phone's battery run out, just like when you forgot to charge it before bed, there's always a chance that the system will crash before the battery runs out. As a result, you should fix a couple of minor issues that are a result of why your Samsung Galaxy A20e doesn't want to turn on. But don't worry, then do this:

  1. Plug the charger into a working wall outlet.
  2. Use the original cable, connect your phone to the charger.
  3. Regardless of whether your phone shows the charging symbol or not, leave it connected to the charger for at least 10 minutes.
  4. After that and while the phone is still connected to the charger, press and hold the Volume Down button and don't release it yet.
  5. While holding down the volume button, also press and hold the power key.
  6. Press and hold both keys together for 15 seconds or until the Galaxy A20e logo appears on the screen.

3) How to factory reset Galaxy A20e

If you managed to get your phone to turn on, but then the problem returned, you need to back up your files and reset your phone. Here is an effective way to reset your device:

  1. Remove your Google and Samsung accounts so you don't get locked out.
  2. Turn off the device.
  3. Press and hold the key Volume up and the key Bixby, then press and hold the key power on.
  4. When the Galaxy A20e logo appears, release all three keys.
  5. Your Galaxy A20e will continue to boot into recovery mode. When a black screen with blue and yellow texts appears, proceed to the next step.
  6. Press the key several times Volume down to highlight “wipe data / factory reset”.
  7. Press the Potenza key to select.
  8. Press the button Volume down until “Yes” is highlighted.
  9. Press the Power button to select and start the master reset.
  10. When the master reset is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.
  11. Press the power button to restart the device.

On the other hand, if the phone still does not respond and still does not turn on after doing these procedures, it is time to take it to the store so that a technician can check it.

I hope I've been able to help you fix the problem with your Galaxy A20e not turning on. We would appreciate if you would help us spread the word, so please share this post if you found it helpful. Thanks so much for reading!
