To be able to create a screenshot in Telegram in any mode, you need to enable two-factor authentication when interacting with the application. The private function for making screenshots will be displayed by default, later it can be adjusted in the settings when you need.

Step by step, your actions should look like this:

Open the Telegram home screen.
Swipe right, in the new window select “Settings”.
Scroll through the list of available options, select "Privacy".
In the "Security" section, click on the first item "Password Code".
Set the code (the password can be four digits or any alphanumeric designation).
Click the checkmark in the upper right corner to confirm.
In the new menu, you will be provided with the full functionality of the settings, from which you will need to select “Allow screenshots” and move the slider to the side to enable/disable the device to take screenshots.

Warning! The password code must be remembered. If you forget it, you will not be able to restore it, the application will have to be reinstalled.

How to create a screen in Telegram

To take a screenshot in Telegram, you don't need to install any add-ons. You just need to know the standard system setting key combination responsible for the screenshot. In practice, on each device, this combination differs according to the operating system, country of manufacture, etc.

On an Android phone
