    Shadespire in Deep - Spiteclaw's Swarm (part 1)

    Here we are with a new appointment dedicated to Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire. In today's article we begin a series of analyzes relating to the decks we use, deepening each time one of the races we most play. It is up to me to start this new column with a series of two articles dedicated to one of my favorite bands, the Skaven!

    - Skaven we all know them a little bit: they are the fastest band in the game, they have a very particular condition of exaltation but despite everything easily achievable, they are fragile and not very incisive in hitting. From this quick series of factors, I immediately tried to think of it as a team oriented more to the objective control game than not aggressive or midrange and I have not yet tried to deny this theory of mine.Shadespire in Deep - Spiteclaw's Swarm (part 1)

    Lo Spiteclaw's swarm it is certainly among the band that I have tested the most, and I consider the list that I will shortly propose to you very effective both in terms of glories score obtained and in terms of efficiency on the battlefield. Suffice it to say that he manages to hover around 14,5 match-glories. Not bad I would say!

    In this first part, we begin to analyze the individual models that make up the band:

    • Skritch Spiteclaw - One of the strongest leaders in the game due to his ability to recall small pieces at any starting point on the map. Skill that allows us to reach even the enemy area and immediately contest objectives wherever they are. With the critical in attack he can get slash, has a 2 hammer ranged attack (so the best quality!) And 2 dice defense with dodge once exalted. Well it had to have a negative aspect, right ?! Look on the bright side, it will always ignore slash!
    • Krrk Almost trusted - If the leader is among the strongest, he is certainly the deputy among the most useful of all the gangs. It defends with 2 dice once exalted with the shield, even if unfortunately it cannot be recalled by the leader once out of the game, going out of order with the rest of the gang's synergy. Luckily he has 3 lives and hits very well, he will certainly come in handy during the game;
    • Skaven Lurking - Model that starts immediately with 2 defense dice, making it our longest lasting piece of the whole team. Having no advantage from exaltation, this certainly makes it the least palatable to exalt of all;
    • Infected Skaven - It is the piece that improves the most once exalted, hits better and defends even better, it will be our second choice as exalted;
    • Ravenous Skaven - Our sacrificial victim. Model to be placed in front with the aim of attracting fire and being killed, hoping to waste cards and attacks on our opponent. We will recall it immediately, possibly going to place it on an opponent's target, even better if exalting it;

    That's it for today with this first taste of power Skaven, in the next article we will deepen the cards of the deck and synergies between the gang, paying particular attention to the structure of the deck, analyzing each card of which it is composed individually. Appointment to the second and last part of this article!
