2021 will be the year of many important releases, including long-awaited films and video games and works postponed from the turbulent 2020. Space Jam New Legends it is certainly one of the most anticipated films ever and it is the freshest news of the birth of a unique partnership between the production and Microsoft products who are looking for ideas among fans to create an arcade video game inspired by the cinematic work. The announcement comes directly from the social networks and is supported by XboX, LeBron James and, of course, from Bugs Bunny!
We're on the hunt for the best fan-submitted video game ideas - the crazier they are, the better! From December 14th to December 30th, if you are over 14 you can submit your ideas for the game. All you have to do is consult the official rules, select the game genre you prefer using a key image and describe your idea in less than 500 words.
There will be two lucky winners who will see their ideas come true in the official Space Jam New Legends video game. They will be rewarded in an incredible way with theXboX Game Pass Ultimate valid throughout 2021, will see their names in in-game credits, will receive LeBron James autographed memorabilia, film merchandise, packages Nike VIP and a console XboX Series S as well as a private screening of the film with friends and family and a virtual Microsoft coding workshop.
The Microsoft initiative joins its offering on Microsoft Store of numerous free virtual seminars (available on aka.ms/SJANLcoding) on the creation of video games. Students can build a video game prototype using block-based coding on the platform MakeCodeArcade. There is also material available to entertain children during the holiday season. There are also two lessons by Microsoft Learning for more experienced programmers, high school students and college students.
LeBron James and the co-stars Don cheadle e Cedric Joe (who plays the son of James, who dreams of becoming a video game developer himself) will introduce the lessons with short videos that talk about the power of computing and programming.
We are very excited to join forces with Space Jam New Legends to support cyber education. Our video game competition, along with seminars and coding lessons, will help 25 million people acquire new digital skills and apply them to their passions.
