The cast and crew of the series Stranger Things returned to the set to continue filming the fourth season after a long pause due to the inconvenience caused by the pandemic of COVID-19. All the beloved stars of the series, including of course Millie Bobby Brown e David Harbour, will return for this this season which however will also see some new faces joining the cast. Netflix has indeed announced eight new cast members who will join Stranger Things in this fourth season.
Of all the names joining the new season's cast, the most prominent is undoubtedly that of Robert Englund, a horror movie icon that gave rise to the role of Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street of 1984. Since Stranger Things has 80s nostalgia as its main theme and is heavily influenced by horror and science fiction films of that era, Englund's casting is perfectly consistent. He will play a man named Victor Creel, imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a terrible murder committed in the 50s.
