The Last of Us Part 2 - Guide for all journal entries

In the course of his adventure in The Last of Us Part 2, Ellie sometimes he takes notes in his diary. This is enriched gradually, and can be consulted by the player at almost any moment of the adventure. However, there are some specific events in which the protagonist finds herself writing and drawing what surrounds her, and the same can be left out by advancing in the campaign. Here are then listed all the places where you can get the various entries in Ellie's diary.

Before leaving you to our guide, we remind you that the following text may contain major and minor spoilers on The Last of Us Part 2. These in several cases concern details of the game script, but also more or less advanced playful insights. With either category, you may run into enough detail to undermine your pad experience. In the event that you have not concluded the experience and do not want to incur any kind of advances, we advise you not to continue with the reading of the following text.

After speaking Don Dina, lean out to the railing, to allow Ellie to take note

Once you get to the library, enter the secondary room where you need to break a glass, go through the first door and look out for a giraffe figure on the left.

Preparations for Departure

At Joel's house, on the lower level, go to the corner of the kitchen where there is a cup with an owl drawn.

In the room after the stairs leading upstairs is Joel's well-known guitar.

Seattle - Day 1

The gate

Once you get to the gate, Ellie can write notes as you approach the sign.

City Center

To locate the building use the map, it is the fourth vertically and the third horizontally. Go around it and climb a ladder, there Ellie will be able to fill in her diary after admiring the view.

On the map you will find the second building horizontally, and the third vertically, after crossing the narrow space go left. Continue until Ellie launches herself with the rope, and proceed to the door. You will find an artifact there, which will unlock the entry once read.

The Tunnels

After defeating the first Shambler you can draw it on the diary.

Birthday gift

Approach the T-Rex's license plate to have Ellie take notes.

In the room dedicated to space, go to the center where two benches are located one in front of the other.

Seattle - Day 2

Hillcrest

#1 

Pass the shopping area to Ruston Cofee. There is a writing on the wall that Ellie will write in the diary.

In Search of Ropes

instead of following Joel after talking to him go right, there will be a lookout and Ellie will make a small sketch in the diary.

The Seraphites

#3

Enter the building very similar to a hotel, you will immediately notice the symbol of hyenas on the wall.

As the story progresses, you'll have to climb to one side to trigger a mandatory cinematic. At the end of this Ellie will have taken notes.

Once out of the forest you will arrive on the road, go immediately left to get and write down the information on the hyenas.

Seattle - Day 3

Towards Aquarius

When Jesse makes you climb into a building, continue straight and fall into the chasm, go to the corner of the map where you will see a strange tree full of mushrooms, there Ellie can take notes.

The Submerged City

Where Ellie's boat stops go up the stairs, look out the window to update the diary.

Infiltration

Look for Abby's blue bag at the aquarium, then Ellie will automatically take notes.

Santa Barbara

In the hinterland

In front of the police car, before the panorama, you just have to press L3.

The Resort

Go to the celestial van with a skull, then Ellie will take notes.
