WandaVision is the unofficial name of the new universe series The Marvel movies, an exclusive production that will debut on the platform of Disney + within its second year of launch, and will be directed and produced by Jac Shaffer - former Captain Marvel writer.
Elizabeth olsen will return, for this occasion, to take on the role of the Avenger Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch, a character already introduced in the MCU in the movie Avenger: Age of Ultron (2015). Together with her, both her "set brother" Pietro Maximoff (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Vision (Paul Bettany).
WandaVision will be inspired by a series of comics dedicated to the adventures of superheroes Wanda Maximoff and Vision (hence the code name provisionally conceived for the project), and will have a vintage setting, inserted in the 50 years. This information was disclosed during the premiere of Avengers: Endgame by Olsen herself, interviewed by Variety. The star also said that filming will likely begin starting from this autunno, and that the production will boast of well 6 hours total of episodes.
