It goes without saying that you may be able to fix this problem yourself and restart your phone successfully. What you need is to go through some steps to figure out the cause first and then move on to the resolution. This is what we will do in this post. We will consider all possibilities and rule them out one by one until the phone boots up properly.

1. Try restarting your phone
Press the power button for a few seconds, then tap the option to turn off. After a few seconds, press the power button again until the device turns off. If the device is still locked, you will need to press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds. The phone should restart after a while. Check if the problem persists even after a complete restart of the phone.
2. Restart your phone in safe mode
There are times when third-party apps freeze a phone on the logo, which is why we need to try to isolate the problem by restarting the phone in safe mode. By doing this, you are temporarily disabling all downloaded apps, so if any or some of them have something to do with this error then the error should not appear in this mode. Follow these steps to boot your phone in Safe Mode.
- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Power key past the screen with the device name.
- When the logo appears on the screen, release the power key.
- Immediately after releasing the power key, press and hold the volume down key.
- Continue to hold the Volume Down key until the device has finished restarting.
- Safe mode will be displayed in the lower left corner of the screen.
- Release the Volume Down key when you see "Safe Mode".
Now see if your Android phone still hangs on the logo. If you move on to the next procedure.
3. If your Android phone gets stuck on the logo, do a factory reset in recovery mode
If the problem still persists at this point, you will need to restore your phone to its original factory condition. Make sure to backup your phone data before performing this step. Once you're ready, follow these steps to do a factory reset or master reset on your Android device.
- Turn the phone off.
- Press and hold the power and volume down buttons until bootloader mode appears, then release. It is represented by an Android bot image with the Start label at the top.
- Press the Volume Down button to select the recovery mode, then press the Power button to confirm your selection. After doing this, the phone will momentarily flash on the Google home screen, then reboot into recovery mode.
- When you see the image of the Android bot with an exclamation point inside a red triangle labeled No Command below, press and hold the power button.
- Press the Volume Up button once, then release the Power button.
- Use the Volume button to select the Wipe Data / Factory Reset option from the Android Recovery screen.
- Select Yes to confirm.
- Wait for the factory data reset process to complete.
- Select Reboot system now.
If the above steps fail to fix the problem then you will need to take your phone to a service center and have it repaired as the problem with your Android phone won't turn on or charge is most likely caused by a faulty hardware component.
