How To Fix Samsung Galaxy A10 That Won't Turn On

Troubleshooting Galaxy A10 that won't turn on

You may only need to go through one procedure to fix this and get the Galaxy A10 to respond again as long as there are no signs of physical or liquid damage. Most of the time, it's just a system crash that causes the phone to not answer. That said, here's what you need to do to fix this: 

First solution: force restart the phone

A forced reboot is your best bet for any minor firmware issues, including system crashes or failures. What it does is refresh the phone's memory and reload all its apps and services. 

It is a simulated battery removal that will be very effective against all kinds of firmware problems as long as the firmware has not been changed in any way. Here's how on your Galaxy A10: 

1. Press and hold the Volume Down button and don't release it yet. 
2. While holding down the volume button, also press and hold the power key. 
3. Press and hold both keys together for 15 seconds or until the Galaxy A10 logo appears on the screen.

Most of the time, this will cause the phone to answer again and turn on. However, if it doesn't respond after the first attempt, perform the same procedure a few more times before moving on to the next solution. 

Second solution: charge your Galaxy A10 and perform a forced restart

5. While holding down the volume button, also press and hold the power key. 
6. Press and hold both keys together for 15 seconds or until the Galaxy A10 logo appears on the screen.

If the phone still does not respond after doing this then you should take it to the store where you bought it as it is probably a hardware problem.

However, if the phone is on but the problem occurs from time to time, a reset is required. Do a master reset to restart your phone, but first make sure you make a copy of your important files. Here is an effective way to reset your phone: 

1. Turn off the device.
2. Keep the keys pressed Volume up e Switching.
3. When the Galaxy A10 logo appears, release all three keys.
4. Your Galaxy A10 will continue to boot into recovery mode. When a black screen with blue and yellow texts appears, proceed to the next step. 
5. Press the key several times Volume down to highlight “wipe data / factory reset”.
6. Press the Potenza key to select.
7. Press the button Volume down until “Yes” is highlighted.
8. Press the Potenza key to select and start the master reset.
9. When the master reset is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.
10. Press the power button to restart the device.
