Rage - The secret rooms of Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein

A step back in time with Rage.

Did you know that in Rage it is possible to visit the secret levels of the mythical Quake, Doom and Wolfenstein? Well, since you are on Resources4Gaming now you know it and we bet that these are just the first of a long series of easter eggs that we will find in this game. In order to unlock and have access to these rooms you must follow a particular procedure during the missions of the game. Here's what exactly needs to be done.

Wolfenstein's Secret Room
During the first mission ("Ghost Hideout"), after being ambushed and using the defibrillator to revive yourself, enter the next area and kill all the enemies. Find the TV and take the corner on the right. Although there will be no on-screen indication, press [Interact] to open a hidden door that will take you to Wolfenstein's secret room.
Remember that it will no longer be possible to access this room after completing the mission.

Doom's secret room
This room must be unlocked in the Gearhead Vault, in the underground city that will become accessible via a main story quest. Once you have gained access to this area, you must activate the computers through a particular procedure. Remember that no interaction message will appear on the screen next to the computers to be activated, but you will know that you have activated the computer when you hear a sound effect from Doom. Everything is shown in the following video

Quake's Secret Room
After completing all the missions related to the Garage of the Devastated (one of the initial missions) enter the same garage using the entrance to the Radio Tower on the fifth floor. Go down to the fourth floor where you will have to activate some switches. Also in this case when you are close to the switches to be activated no interaction message will appear on the screen, but you will know that you have activated the button when you listen to a sound effect taken from Quake. Proceed exactly as shown in the following video and you too will have access to Quake's secret room.
